Information We Do Not Collect
Free AI does not collect, store, or process any personal information. We do not require accounts, use tracking cookies, or log IP addresses. There is no analytics, no advertising, and no data to sell.
API Key Storage
Your Groq API key is stored exclusively in your browser's local storage. It never leaves your device except when you send a request directly to Groq. We have no way to access your key or use it on your behalf.
Data Stored in Your Browser
Free AI stores only two things locally: your API key and your language preference (en or fi). These are saved using localStorage so they persist between visits. You can remove them at any time by clearing your browser's site data.
Third-Party Services
When you use the app, your messages are sent directly to Groq's API servers. Groq's own privacy policy governs that data — Free AI has no control over it. We recommend reviewing Groq's privacy policy for details.
Contact Form Data
If you submit the contact form, your name, email address, and message are processed solely to deliver your inquiry to our inbox via a secure SMTP connection. The data is not stored or sold.
Cookies & Local Storage
Free AI uses only essential browser storage for language preference (en/fi). We do not use cookies, pixels, analytics scripts, or any other tracking technologies.
Children's Privacy
Since we collect no data whatsoever, children can use Free AI without concern. There is nothing to protect and nothing to leak.
